We’ve had LG and Lenovo showing what they can bring, even HP revealed some desktop-PCs. It’s now MSI’s turn before the CES to tease us with new models of notebaooks: MSI GT783 and MSI GT685. We have pics and specs so let’s begin the show.

The GT783 is advertised by MSI as the fastest gaming laptop. Does it have what it needs for such a reputation? The second Generation 2GHz Core i7quad-core processor is a good beginning for the list of specs, along with the NVIDIA GTX 580M GPU, which according to MSI is the fastest GPU in the neighbourhood. Hold on tight for what’s next: 32GB RAM, storage up to 1.5TB and an optional SSD. Other features include Blu-Ray, two USB 3.0 ports, WiFi, Bluetooth and THX TruStudio audio and, in the end, we must not forget the 9-cell battery. The GT783 comes with a 17.3 inch display, capable of a  1920 x 1080 resolution.

The GT685 has a 15.6-inch with the same resolution and also features the same 2GHz Core i7 processor, the NVIDIA GTX 580M GPU and up to 32GB of RAM, the same maximum storage of 1.5TB, SSD and Blu-Ray.

Both,  MSI GT783 and MSI GT685, will be present at CES where we hope to get some details on the pricing and release date as well to accompany this list of specs and pics.
